Hi-Voltage is pleased to inform clients and visitors of the long awaited arrival of the FileMaker 11 product line.
FileMaker Pro 11, FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced, FileMaker Server 11 and FileMaker Server 11 Advanced were released today, marking the 6th anniversary of the legendary release of FileMaker 7.

What's new in FileMaker Pro 11?
So what's new in FileMaker Pro 11? Well, actually there's quite a lot. Many of the new features are productivity tools for developers, which means we'll be more productive and therefore reducing development costs down for our clients. Since most of these new productivity feature air aimed at developers, we wont be discussing them here.
We have chosen the top 3 new features relevant to end-users and listed them below:
FileMaker Charts
You can now bring your reports to life with FileMaker Charts. With five different styles including vertical bar, horizontal bar, area, line and pie charts, you'll be able to more easily visualise, interpret and share your data.
Also, you can now use Instant Web Publishing to present your charts on the web using FileMakers new Web Dashboards.
Quick Find
In FileMaker Pro 11 you can now search across multiple fields by entering a word or phrase in a single Quick Find search box. Quick Find will allow you to quickly and conveniently find data in your system with ease.
Snapshot Link
You can now create a Snapshot Link. Think of the snapshot link as a web browser bookmark. This feature allows you to save a set of records at any given point in time while preserving the same layout, view, and sort order. You can even email the Snapshot Link to anyone who has FileMaker Pro 11 for easy collaboration with colleagues. Any changes you make to the Snapshot file will be updated directly into the live database.
